This time, the post is more entertaining, with the following video showing my skills (hahah) in playing with toy cars and using little bit windows movie maker. Watch it and enjoy! :)

Rossi's sexy new $1 million toy

Valentino Rossi recently baught a sexy new yatch Pershing 56 for around $1.15 millions. It can take 14 people, has 1,300 hp power and is one of the few very fast luxury yatches. An Italian beauty for the Italian hero! Valentino is 5th on the list of world's top earning athletes. This year he earned $35 millions for riding a Yamaha around few tracks, getting clicked for media and baught a sexy yatch like this! I ride my Yamaha everyday to office to sketch things which I may never be able to buy or even see coming to life! Sometimes I feel I am in wrong profession. ;)This one is another sexy Yatch Pershing 72.

Interesting history of Brand Yamaha
The Yamaha brand trademark, YAMAHA, comes from the name of founder Torakusu Yamaha who pioneered the production of Western musical instruments in Japan. Born to a family of a Kishu Tokugawa clansman, Torakusu was captivated by Western science and technology from early on. Fascinated by the watches that were gaining popularity in Osaka at the time, he took up watchmaking, studying business along the way. Over time, Torakusu began repairing medical equipment and was invited to visit a hospital in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture. On one occasion, the hospital asked him if he would try to repair a reed organ. He agreed and was able to repair it successfully, marking the first step toward the birth of the Yamaha brand. Recognizing its business potential, while repairing the organ, Torakusu created a blueprint for the inside of the organ, later creating his own prototype organ. To deliver it to the then Music Institute (today's Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music), Torakusu slung his creation over his shoulder on a carrying pole and crossed the mountains of Hakone. This historic trek was later immortalized as a bas-relief.
The organ, however, was criticized harshly for its poor tuning. Undaunted, and starting from zero, Torakusu began studying music theory and tuning. After four months of seemingly endless struggles from early morning to late at night, he was finally able to complete the organ. It is easy to see how he came up with the concept of the tuning forks logo (as seen in pic above), inspired by the difficult experience of studying tuning while holding a tuning fork in his hand.
"Today, Yamaha is a leader in businesses ranging from musical instruments and audio & video products to products related to information technology, new media services, home furnishings, auto components, specialty metals, music education and resort facilities. Yet, true to our musical origins, no matter what business we take on, or what country we do business in -- we seek to remain perfectly attuned to the set of shared values that define the World of Yamaha." As per information on Yamaha website.
P.S. by the way they also produce good motorcycles!!! ;)

I Dream 1:1
Honda CRF 450.... latest addition to my collection, (i would not like to mention actually, but just to be honest, my collection refers to scale models as of now!!! :( , except for my baby yamaha FZ).Anyway, the point is, these scale models of bikes are actually scale models of my dreams!. One day, I dream, to own them 1:1 ! These are reminders, or may be the image board for the future plans. Most of these miniature bikes are actually gifted by me to myself. So there are something I really want to own, I know my collection of scaled dreams is not complete yet, and i will keep adding my dreams to this collection as and when I get the clearer images of them! I am really happy to get this Honda CRF 450 as gift from sid not because it's some bike, but more because it's something I was thinking of for quite some time, but couldn't find a good one!
Thank you sid.
I promise to give you a ride on one of my dream bikes, when it becomes 1:1.
:)
(P.S. I couldn't resisit myself from sticking doctor Rossi's number 46 on this bike! Sorry Honda!!!)

Khamakha bewaja
(after a long time some nice lyrics... from movie New York)Tune jo na kaha, mein woh sunta raha
Khamaka bewaja khwaab buntha raha
Jaane kiski humein lag gayi hai nazar
Is shehar mein na apna tikana raha
Durr chahat se mein apni chalta raha
Khamaka bewaja khwaab buntha raha
Gar woh pehle se hai zyaada, khud se phir yeh kiya wada
Khamosh nazrein rahe bezuban
Apno phele si baatein hai, bolo tho lab thar tharatein hai
Raaz yeh dil ka, na ho bayaan
Ho gaya ke aasar koi hum pe nayi
Humsafar mein tho hai humsafar hai nayi
Durr jatha raha, paas aatha raha
Khamaka bewaja khwaab buntha raha
Aaya woh phir nazar aise, baat chidne lagi phir se
Aankho mein chubtha kal ka dhuwaa
Hal tera na hum sa hi, is khushi mein kyun gham sa hi
Basne laga kuyn phir woh jahan
Woh jahan dur jisse gaye te nikal
Phir se yaadon ne kar di hai jaise pehal
Lamha beeta huwa, dil dhukata raha
Khamaka bewaja khwaab buntha raha
Tune jo na kaha, mein woh sunta raha
Khamaka bewaja khwaab buntha raha
Jaane kiski humein lag gayi hai nazar
Is shehar mein na apna tikana raha
Durr chahat se mein apni chalta raha
Bhuj gayi aag thi, dhaag jalta raha

Go UNLIMITED
Read a book after a long time. Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach. Really very inspiring as I was told! It is a story which makes you realize there is atleast one Jonathan Livingston Seagull inside you. Once you recognize him, rest of the story is yours! It says set aside whatever limits you. Know no limits, or you won't be able to go beyond! While answering to Jonathan's question about heaven, Chinag says,"No Jonathan, there is no such place. Heaven is not a place, and it is not a time. Heaven is being perfect." "You will begin to touch heaven, Jonathan, in the moment you touch the perfect speed. And that isn't flying a thousand miles an hour, or a million. Because any number is a limit, and perfection doesn't have limits!"Then there is one more interesting thought about what works. "Well, of course it works. It always works when you know what you are doing!"
And it's easy. The flock will help you realize you are not part of them, you just have to go beyond and realize that you are not even a bone and feather seagull. You are a perfect idea of freedom and flight, limited by nothing at all!
Go UNLIMITED!.....
(thank you Poorva for the book :)

the child within us....
"The greatest gift you can give yourself is to retain the wonder of childhood and add that to adult experience" Because children have no preconceptions - their minds are blank and they fill them up. And that is a wonderful thing about watching them grow up. They are amazed at everything! And really, as you get older, and you add the discipline of being a designer, you add design skills, you add the skill of analysis, but if you retain that original child-like ability to be absolutely fascinated with new things, then you can maintain your curiosity, and your inventive, creative energy your whole life.-Syd Mead (the great maestro of concept design world. He is 75 and still delivers his great hand sketches and renders to big manufacturing and entertainment industries))

My friend who spoke no English
This is a post by Teamea Francisca (moving fingers). I liked it and thought should post it here for all to read.
Enjoy.
"Last night I met the strangest creature. Its funny cos I wasn’t out of home. So where did the creature come from and what was it doing in my bed? I don’t know. Cos it was an unusual conversation I had.
I am a deep sleeper, that’s what my brother says. For whenever the dogs in the neighbourhood bark too much or the clashing thunder or firecrackers wake him up, he watches me seem so peacefully asleep. “Dead to the world” as he says. He wonders what I’m dreaming about, as he sees a small smile on my face and sometimes it’s even a thoughtful look he says, but I seldom believe him. Cos I don’t remember having seen a dream or been to another world or imagined myself in a situation that wakes me up startled or as if out of another place and time. My sleep time always seems to finish so quickly that I don’t think I have time for a dream to run through my head!
I know I was suddenly very thirsty at night and I woke up for a drink of water. And there sitting very comfortably on the edge of my bed was little Mr. chikyckiky and he was crying! Now what was I to do? Do I wake up mommy or daddy or my brother Tom? They’d all had a very tiring day yesterday and surely wouldn’t want to be woken up by me at such a late hour, so I decided against it. I tried to talk to my guest but he only made a sad face blank at me each time I spoke. And then I figured he probably didn’t speak any English. So I switched to Konkani and even a little broken hindi and asked him what was the matter. But again he didn’t seem to understand. “Oh dear oh dear”, I said “what to do? How do I talk to someone who doesn’t speak a language I do?” I sat quietly watching Mr. chickychicky with the tears slipping down his egg like body. He looked quite like humpty dumpty from my old poetry book, jut that he didn’t have a fancy hat and big black boots. And if you are wondering how I got to know his name… well I didn’t I just call him that since that’s the only thing he said to me, “Chicky chicky ooo. Chicky chichi waaa.”
I certainly wanted to know what was the reason for his tears, perhaps her got lost and landed in my bed. That’s surely what it was I thought. But then what was I to do, how would I find his friends or family? And tried showing him picture books to see if I could get him to smile but he didn’t seem to recognize any of the images of fruits and vegetables and animals I showed him. That is strange I thought perhaps he didn’t come from this part of the country, but then common who doesn’t know a tomato? Or a cat?
I then came up with a great idea. I opened the window and lifted Mr. Chicky to the sill. It was rather late I know for the clock showed 2:05am. I then began to sing a lullaby to make him feel better. I must have fallen asleep myself ‘cos I don’t know what happened after that. I woke up to the sun shinning brightly on my face leaning against the window. Where was my new friend I don’t know. Maybe his family found him while passing by.
I tried to tell mommy about my experience last night but she said it must have been a dream. But I don’t think it was. I had sipped from the bedside glass of water and the window was open too. As for Mr. Chickychicky, there’s nothing to say he really was here, except my memory of him. I do hope he got home safe and comes to visit me again."
Enjoy.

Congratulations to Team Agni on their historic victory in the world's first electric motoGP
As mentioned in my earlier post, out of 17 teams from all over the world two Indian teams participated in world’ first electric superbike race at Isle of Man TT. The race was won by Team Agni yesterday!
Our hearty congratulations to the team and we feel proud to see the Indian flag behind the winning rider Rob Barber in the media.
Winning team members are;
Rob Barber (rider)
Arvind Rabadia (Director, Organizer, India)
Hasmuk Rabadia (organizer UK)
Cedric Lynch (motor inventor, team mechanic)
Some work was done in factory in Gujarat, India.
About Agni motors: Joint Indian-English company Agni Motors’s claim of making quality, high efficiency and high performance electric motors gained massive credence today when it clearly bested the world’s fastest electric motorcycles to win the first clean emissions (AKA electric) motorcycle Grand Prix at an average speed of 87.434 mph (140.71kmph). It’s place in history is assured by the landmark win, but it was the team’s dominance that was most surprising.

Green is getting faster, really!!! :)
TTXGP, the world's first zero carbon clean emission Superbike race will take place on 12th June 2009, on the world famous Isle of Man TT circuit creating huge international press interest. More than a typical motorbike race, TTXGP is a showcase for the next generation of motorsports. All the entrants have built unique prototype machines. The excitement that has been building around alternative forms of transport and clean energy consumption has been harnessed and pushed to the edge to produce a major, international sporting event. TTXGP provides an opportunity to see these exciting machines close up and as well as stretched to their limits on a course that is one of the most challenging road races in the world. The interesting thing is that out of the 17 teams, two are Indian! Team Agni and Team Tork.

eight to be like this?
This is what an article about numerology and career says for my birth number 8. I found it completely funny, what am I doing in YObykes Design Studio? hahahah."Leadership is associated with number eight, apart from a persuasive attitude. As an eight number you'd love being a sales manager, banker, stockbroker, management consultant, financier or athlete."
